Sample Menu

I’ve included a sample menu of the Caveman diet I used during a local Crossfit weight loss challenge to lose 15 pounds in a month. I use cream in my coffee–this, and all dairy, is not a caveman-diet approved food.

7:00 2x coffee with cream. 9:00 Egg white omelet with ham, zucchini. 12:00 Tuna, sauerkraut, brussel sprouts. 18:00 Post workout tangerine and protein powder. 19:30 Turkey breast with spinach in coconut curry sauce.
7:00 2x coffee with cream. 11:00 Turkey and mixed veg. 15:00 Turkey with mixed veg, bean sprouts. 18:00 Post workout ham and tangerine. 20:00 Venison burger with broccoli, arugula salad. 22:00 Chicken livers with mayonnaise.

7:00 2x coffee with cream. 10:00 Egg white omelet with turkey ham, mix veggies. 12:30 Ham and grapes. 15:30 Rabbit with broccoli, mixed veg, curry sauce. 18:00 Tangerine, turkey ham. 20:00 Rabbit and broccoli.
7:00 2x coffee with cream. 9:00 Egg white omelet with roast pork, veggies. 12:00 Vegetable/chicken soup. 15:00 Vegetable/chicken soup. 18:00 Vegetable/chicken soup. 20:00 Venison and turkey roast, brussel sprouts, sauerkraut, and mustard.

7:00 2x coffee with cream. 8:00 Chicken livers with pecans and sweet potato and zucchini hash browns. 12:00 Can of sardines, tangerine. 3:30 Boar stew with roasted zucchini and mushrooms. 5:00 Ten beers.
2x coffee with cream. 10:00 One can sardines. 1:30 Salmon with mixed veg. 5:00 Tuna salad with arugula, balsamic. 8:30 (Eating Out) Eggplant with mozzarella, turkey breast with tomato sauce and mozzarella, beef scallopini with cream sauce. 11:00 Pistachio snack.

6:00 2x black coffee. 8:00 Turkey breast/liver with brussel sprouts, lemon water. 12:00 One egg, two egg whites with zucchini, mushrooms, turkey ham. 18:00 Alfalfa sprouts with tuna, avocado salad. 21:00 Pork roast with zucchini. Elk jerky.
6:00 2x coffee with cream. 9:00 Egg white omelet with roasted pork and mushrooms. 13:00 Turkey ham and salmon salad with arugula, avocado, sprouts, and pecans. 18:00 Post workout turkey ham and two tangerines. 19:00 Elk jerky. 20:00 Beef steak with brussel sprouts and mushrooms.
7:00 Egg white omelet, 2x coffee with cream. 12:00 Beef steak with brussel sprouts. 16:00 Ham with alfalfa sprouts. 18:00 Turkey breast with brussel sprouts.

    Is alcohol a big ” no” on the caveman diet? If not which kinds of apples are better to drink?
